We are currently seeking an experienced DDC Controls Manager to join our Wichita, KS team!

The right candidate will have extensive DDC controls knowledge with the ability to design and configure controls systems to meet our customer’s specific needs. Prior DDC controls sales experience as well as commercial mechanical experience related to proper controls installation is preferred.  This individual will be responsible to oversee all DDC sales activities, service, and installations throughout our entire region of operations in order to grow the division. This person is highly-motivated and looking to continually grow the division while managing quality and consistency of products and services in accordance with Central Consolidated’s standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience. Job Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company’s DDC control products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify potential DDC sales targets and project the number of customer contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify DDC controls sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare DDC controls presentations, proposals, and sales contracts as needed.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current DDC controls product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  • Manage DDC control account services through quality checks and other follow-up and immediately identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.

Job Requirements

  • DDC controls experience
  • Commercial HVAC experience related to controls installation preferred.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, as well as create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Must have good reading, writing, cognitive, and arithmetic skills.
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients which requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, along with depth perception, the ability to distinguish colors and adjust and focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Wichita, KS team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain schedules and coordinate with assigned construction projects
  • Client Development/Relationships
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Prepare and distribute all approved job documents to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications
  • Prepare and submit O&M’s and closing documents to GC’s and Owners upon job completion
  • Coordinate multiple departments for owner training/turnover

Onsite Responsibilities:

  • Timecard completion for crews
  • Support communication between PM and Foremen
  • Manage project documents (including submittals)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, preferred
  • Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in the Construction Industry, required
