Renovation & Upgrade

The BCS / Luling’s City Laundry building has been renovated to look as it did when it was constructed back in 1924. It has received both State and Federal historical registration, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as the Register of Historic Kansas Places.


The Luling’s City Laundry building was constructed in 1924, with a west side addition completed in 1936. The building was designed for maximum fire safety, lighting, and ventilation. The main goal was to transform the building into an office environment while keeping the industrial style, and look, of the original building wherever possible.

The VRF system is engineered to minimize the use of ductwork, greatly minimizing installation costs, as well as eliminating the cost of large distribution fans, multiple hydronic pumps, and associated water piping. Due to considerable energy efficiency, ease of installation, and reduction in maintenance costs, a VRF system has the lowest life cycle cost of any HVAC system on the market today.
