HVAC Renovation & Upgrade

The Iola Middle School renovation project, located in Eastern Kansas, consisted of 2 boilers, 4 pumps, 13 roof top units, 71 terminal units, and over 5,000 linear feet of hydronic piping across all areas and floors of the building.

This project was unique and challenging due to the 3-month schedule which required large crew sizes, cross trade coordination, and material procurement to meet completion date. The building had been added on to and remodeled multiple times in the past creating varying existing conditions across the different areas to be remodeled. In the span of two days, 16 roof top units were removed, 13 curb adapters were installed, 13 new roof top units were set, and 3 old openings were capped.

Upon completion, we left the Iola Middle School with a more efficient, larger capacity HVAC system that will serve the facility for years to come.
